Dr. Raul Angeles, OD
Dr. Angeles has a passion for providing quality healthcare for his patients. He graduated from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2015 and has been living and working in Alaska ever since. Before pursuing a career as an optometrist he spent 7 years in the US Army and lived for several years in Fairbanks, AK. He currently lives in Palmer, AK with his wife and their 3 children.
Eye Exam? Do I need one?
YES! An eye exam is an amazing health tool! Not only can an eye exam address vision difficulties but it can also help identify and manage many health conditions. Diabetes, brain tumors, high blood pressure and more can be diagnosed and tracked through noninvasive methods with an eye exam.
What is Myopia?
Myopia is nearsightedness! It is easily treatable with glasses or contacts. Children should have an eye exam before starting school and every two years thereafter to catch vision difficulties that may cause them to struggle in school. Adults may experience headaches or eye strain if they have myopia.
